Hard Water Facts

As Tucson uses more Colorado River water and reduces its reliance on groundwater - the mineral level will rise and our water will become harder. These minerals are primarily calcium and magnesium. As the water becomes harder, customers will need to increase the upkeep on their household appliances, water heaters, swamp coolers and plumbing fixtures.
